Made with goats milk and oatmeal along with wild rose essential oils, this wedge soap has the added attraction of confetti made from hand-milled 3-butter soap with white rose oil.
Three-butter soap consists of a mixture of mango butter, cocoa butter, and shea butter. All three of these butters have been used for centuries as moisturizers.
Shea butter comes from the pit of the fruit of the magnifolia tree in Western and Central Africa. It contains vitamin A and vitamin E as well as cinnamic acid and is said to heal cracked or dry skin and protect skin from the sun, cigarette smoke, and other pollutants.
Oatmeal helps to alleviate swelling and itching from poison ivy, bug bites, or chicken pox. When finely ground, oatmeal and the natural oil coat of oatmeal moisturize and protect as well as correcting the pH of inflamed or itchy skin. Oatmeal contains beta-glucan, which is a moisture-retentive polysaccharide. It also has phenols, which are a type of antiseptic and is a known antioxidant.
The wild rose oil used in this soap is 100% gluten-free, alcohol-free and vegan. Rose oil is known to help depression, mature skin, and stress.
